Directly in front of your vehicle's engine system is the radiator. Usually made of either copper or aluminum, the radiator is placed right behind the grille at the front of your auto. The radiator is where the coolant that has already absorbed the heat from hot engine components is being circulated. It is through the radiator that the heat of the coolants are transferred to the tubes and which are in turn cooled by the fresh and cool air that has entered the engine compartment through the gaps in the grille. Supporting the radiator is a metal frame that serves as a bracket to the radiator. Aptly called as the Suzuki radiator support, this metal frame is located at the front part of the auto body. The Suzuki radiator support is actually a panel that is installed right beneath the radiator grille which also holds the radiator in position. It is also the task of the radiator support to connect the mudguard skirts at the very front part. A radiator support assembly is considered as complete when it comprises an upper tie bar that is positioned at the upper radiator support, the side support panel for the left and right sides of the radiator support, the hood latch support for the central part of the radiator support, and the lower crossmember for the lower portion of the radiator support. Modern radiator supports are made of two sheet molding composite bound together. The Suzuki radiator support combines the functions of a headlight assembly, grille panel, hood latch mounting, and hood bumper support. Because of the many purposes it tends to serve, you have to make sure that the radiator support you choose for your car is highly reliable and durable.
