So the US government went to Willys and encouraged them to create their own modifications of the BRC prototype. But the model turned out to be almost similar to the Bantam BRC, especially to the prototype's engine. But the military decided to let Willys mass produce the design anyway. With the help of Ford, the US finally got the models they wanted in the form of Jeeps. Willys and Ford made sure that their Jeep parts were made to be extra tough to protect all of the cargo and passengers from bullets and explosions.
