Because of advances in automobile engineering technology, most Eagle starters should be able to outlast a new car warranty. Over time, though, age, useage and heat stress will wear down the Eagle starter, and it may be time to replace it. If one part of a starter is failing - usually the drive or 'Bendix' will wear out first - then the other parts are probably due for failure as well.
