A clogged or poorly running Eagle fuel injector can wreak a lot of damage on your engine over time, if you do not act to replace it immediately. A deteriorated fuel injector will mean that the air-fuel mixture will not reach proper levels in the combustion cycle, which causes engine detonations or misfires, knocking, loss of power and a drop in your gas mileage. Detonations will eventually jar your engine so badly that damage might occur there. You risk failing an emissions test because of the high levels of hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions, which come as a result of unburned fuel passing straight to your exhaust system. That occurs when the Eagle fuel injectors fail to provide the proper mixture of oxygen and fuel, and combustion cannot be sustained during the combustion cycle. The Eagle fuel injectors depend on the on-board computer and a handful of sensors to fine-tune how much fuel to supply to the cylinders. Alternatively, the Eagle fuel injectors might not be providing the correct spray pattern. Aging fuel injectors tend to drip instead of spray. Some older models are designed to create a spray pattern in the shape of a cone, but as the nozzle becomes clogged, the spray pattern will be altered. So, diagnose your Eagle fuel injector system with a few simple tests and then order your replacements here.
