The pump's inlet is near the center of that force. The fluid rotates through the engine like this: the fluid returns from the radiator and hits the pump vanes. Then, the pump vanes move the water outside of the pump, where it can enter the engine. At that point, the fluid flows to the engine block, cylinder head, radiator and ending up back at the pump. In addition to actually moving the fluid through the engine system, the Chrysler water pump must ensure that the pressure and flow can support high enough levels of velocity through the radiator. The radiator tubes must have turbulence in there, because turbulence in the radiator tubes ensures that all the hot water contacts the tubes. That turbulence requires certain levels of coolant fluid velocity. Without that fluid circulation created by your properly running Chrysler water pump, your car will overheat and wreak damage to the entire engine system.
